Head of MoDyS
Research Group sponsored by VolkswagenStiftung
within the progamme Junior Research Groups at German Universities
at Center of
Human-Machine-Systems .
|
Research Interests
|
- models of user behavior for the engineering of safe dynamic
human-machine-systems,
- methods for modeling dynamics in technical and cognitive systems,
- application of models in intelligent tutoring systems,
- user models in hci, hmi and technical applications,
- engineering of process information and management systems.

Current Projects
|
- MoDyS: transfer, integration
and enhancement of human performance modeling approaches to user
modeling in dynamic human-machine systems (sponsored by VolkswagenStiftung).
- GRK 1013 prometei:
Support for modelbased evaluation of user interaction principles
in early phases of system development (sponsored by DFG).
- Networked Services for Drivers: methods to support the development of new networked services for mobile customers,
- development of data-preprocessing steps which are necessary
for the online integration of computational intelligence methods
(usefull not only for user-modeling but any dynamic statistically
disturbed process),
- technical and didactical design of simulated micro-worlds and
real plant remote laboratory experiments,
- consulting and engineering of process information and management
systems.
